Sam Sanders, Assoc. AIA, NOMA is currently pursuing his M.F.A. in Producing at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in the Peter Stark Producing Program. He is  also a Dean's List graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Architecture in the College of Fine Arts with his B. Arch and studies in Chinese Culture and Language.

 

From building Lego cities, to writing his own movies, to carrying a pocket full of pencils, and drawing crayon cartoons, Sam has known that he wanted to make art since he was a child. Like a modern day jack-of-all-trades, he dabbles in everything from fashion and costuming, to art and animation, to architecture, and sculpture. Sam brings his life long passion for detail and fabrication in all his work, having master many digital fabrication and wood craftsmanship techniques through the years. 

 

Sam is currently an Architectural Designer at Front Studio and the Chief Graphic Designer for VERSUS his + her apparel. He's been a designer at a wide range of design firms throughout the past five years. Along with his architectual work, he also is a freelance graphic designer and an avid animator /illustrator, currently working on a number of animated shorts. 

 

Aside from the arts and media, Sam has always had a passionate focus on community outreach and volunteer work. Even after finishing his Boy Scout career, he spends his free time volunteering at a number of soup kitchens and community outreach organizations throughout PA and NJ. He is also a volunteer teacher at Linden Elementary School, Carnegie Mellon University, and various other arts and architecture programs.
